A total of 213 teachers, 170 male (79.7 %) and 43 female (20.2 %), participated in the study voluntarily. Personal Information Form, Ethical Leadership Scale and Organizational Cynicism Scale created by the researchers were used as data collection tools. In the analysis of the data, skewness kurtosis values were examined for normality assumptions and it was determined that the distribution was normal. In the next stage, Cronbach Alpha internal consistency coefficient for the scales was examined and it was found to be .98 for the Ethical Leadership Scale and .93 for the Organizational Cynicism Scale. In this direction, t-test was used for two group comparisons and anova test was used for three or more group comparisons. Post-hoc tukey test was used to determine the source of the difference that emerged as a result of ANOVA analysis. Pearson-correlation analysis was used to determine the relationships between the scales and multiple linear regression analysis was used to determine the power of independent variables (ethical leadership sub-dimensions) in predicting the dependent variable (organizational cynicism total score). As a result of the research, it was determined that there were significant differences within the groups according to demographic variables. When the relationships between the two scales were examined, it was determined that there were statistically significant negative relationships between the ethical leadership sub-dimensions and the total score of organizational cynicism at a moderate level. In addition, as a result of multiple regression analysis, it was determined that the level of ethical leadership behaviors of school administrators significantly predicted the level of organizational cynicism of physical education and sports teachers and explained approximately 16 % of the variance. As a result, it can be said that ethical leadership and organizational cynicism differ according to demographic variables.</p>}, number={1}, journal={ISPEC International Journal of Social Sciences & Humanities}, author={ŞAHİN, Erhan and ARSLAN, Ahmet}, year={2023}, month={Mar.}, pages={47–73} }
