The article is carried out in line with linguoculturology, in the framework of which language, culture and people are explored in trinity. The multifaceted correlation of culture and language is considered one of the key in modern linguistics, in addition, there is no doubt among linguists that language is an integral part of the culture of the people. In this study, an attempt is made to explore the semantics of the concept “yurk” (“heart”) in the Tatar and Russian language pictures of the world, in particular, its representation in the emotional sphere of man.
