İhracat Çeşitlendirmesi İle Enerji Talebi Arasındaki İlişki: BRICS-T Ülkeleri Üzerine Ampirik Analiz

Küreselleşmeyle birlikte artan ülkelerarası ticaret faaliyetleri, ihracatta ürün çeşitlendirmesine yol açmaktadır. İhracat çeşitlendirmesi, ihracat ürünlerinde veya endüstrilerde çeşitlendirme ile ihracat ortakları veya pazarlarında çeşitlendirme olmak üzere iki farklı kanal aracılığıyla ekonomik kazançlar sağlayabilir. İhracatta çeşitlendirmeye yönelen ülkeler, daha fazla ülkeyle ticaret yapmakta ve geniş bir ürün yelpazesi ihraç etmektedir. İhracat çeşitlendirmesinin, ekonomik büyüme, yatırım, ticaret hadleri, döviz kuru, istihdam gibi faktörler üzerinde etkileri ortaya çıkabilmektedir. Bunlara ilaveten sürdürülebilir ekonomik büyümeye ulaşmada önemli bir rol oynaması nedeniyle üretimde önemli bir girdi olarak kabul edilen enerjinin tüketimi veya talebindeki değişmeler de ihracat çeşitlendirmesinden etkilenebilmektedir Ayrıca ihracat çeşitlendirmesi sayesinde enerji yoğunluğu kontrol edebilir ve verimli enerji kullanımı sağlanabilir. İhracat çeşitlendirme süreci, enerji verimli ürünler üretmek için düzenlemelerin yapılmasını sağlar. Bu çalışma BRICS-T ülkeleri için 1995-2014 döneminde ihracat çeşitlendirmesinin enerji talebine nasıl katkıda bulunduğunu araştırmaktadır. Bu bağlamda çalışmada panel eş-bütünleşme testleri ile panel FMOLS ve panel DOLS testleri uygulanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda, enerji talebi ile ihracat çeşitlendirmesi arasında uzun dönemde negatif bir ilişki olduğu bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır.
