Abstract

The purpose of this review study is to examine how EMDR therapy is used with people suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. In this study, the systematic review method was used and no field study or any scale was used. The studies in English and Turkish are between 2008-2023. These studies consist of research articles. This compilation study was carried out in two stages: September, 2023 and December, 2023. As a result of the literature review, 6 studies were considered. As a result of these 6 studies, it has been seen that EMDR Therapy is effective in healing and helps the healing process. It has been found that symptoms decrease and improve after EMDR Therapy is applied to people with PTSD. For this reason, EMDR Therapy is an effective method in the treatment of PTSD.
